About Hope Bridges

When you buy coffee from Hope Bridges, you help build bridges of hope for children in Thailand. Your coffee will taste delicious AND provide food, clothing, and education for kids in need.

The education is three-fold. We teach them about Jesus, anti-trafficking methods, and tutor them in their regular school work.

Fair Trade Thai Coffee

From the northern hill country in Thailand, A hill tribe cooperative processes the coffee using a fair trade model.
The beans are 100% Arabica and organically grown in the shade.

It’s a unique win-win-win business model.

  • You get a life-changing cup of coffee

  • The hill tribes earn a fair market wage alternative to the opium trade

  • The proceeds of the coffee go back to Thailand - supporting the children.

The Start & The heart

In January of 2009, our founder, Mike Lane was on a mission trip in Thailand. While visiting a refugee camp of 17,000 people on the Thai-Burma border, compassion flooded his heart and knew something had to be done. After a year of prayer and discussion, Hope Bridges was born.

Now, there’s over one-hundred children cared for. Food, clothing, education, and basic health care are all part of the hope provided as well as teaching the kids to navigate around the dangers of their environment — drug abuse & human trafficking issues.

Our goal is to prepare them to thrive in the real world.

When a child knows where their next meal will come from and sees the love of God in action, not only do their hearts and minds open up, but the entire community opens up!
