God knew the answer to the question “Whom shall I send…” By asking this questions it gives Isaiah a chance to volunteer as he willingly does when he says, “Here I am. Send me!” God loves it when we volunteer to be his hands and feet. For example you’re at work and your boss demands you do something. How do you feel?
There is freedom in volunteering. It allows us the free will to serve God and His people. God does not demand that we love him but he does call and equip us to serve. So what are you waiting for?
Isaiah saw the need and responded to God’s call. Not like Moses and Jeremiah who wanted to discuss with God that call. However, Isaiah accepted his call and did great things for God’s people. So never underestimate what a person can do. Never underestimate what you can do. God has a plan for your life to be His hands and feet in some way. So what are you waiting for, go serve!
Have you ever heard God’s voice say something along the lines of go and serve?
If not how would you react if you did hear his voice?
If you have how did you react?
What were the results?
