Vision, Mission & Values

Raising children and impacting young women to be fully devoted followers of Christ.

To reveal the gospel by providing for children and women spiritually, emotionally, and physically through education, leadership, clothing, food, and shelter, and the love of Christ.

  • Worship
  • Discipleship
  • Caring for Children
  • Compassion

Our values are derived from the inspired Word of God.

Worship is not just an action, it is a lifestyle. Hope Bridges practices an active lifestyle of worship through the practical care of children and women at risk of poverty, abuse, and slavery. In all we do, we strive to proclaim that God is holy and worthy of our worship above all. We serve God in this way through a dedication to this ministry.

Psalm 99:9
Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy!

Luke 4:8
And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.”

Discipleship is the daily practice of leading others in the love and admonition of the Lord. We practice discipleship by providing a Christian education as well as Christian leadership and love to those in our organization and those it cares for. Our goal is to see them become fully devoted followers of Christ, and to reach, teach, mend, and send them to further the Kingdom of God in all the world.

Mark 8:34
If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Matthew 5:14-15
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Caring for Others

We believe we are called to care for children and young women in their time of distress, which means caring for their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. We believe children and women are a blessing from God and treat them with high regard, respect, and dignity as members of the body of Christ, the church.

Isaiah 1:16-17
Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.

James 1:27
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep one unstained from the world.

We believe that showing true compassion means we do not just see the needs of the desolate, the down-trodden, and the hurting, but we reach to meet those needs. Compassion is an emotion that stirs in us to move in practical ways to serve God and His people.

Matthew 25:40
Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.

Matthew 10:42
And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple; truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.
